About Kellie

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Washington State University and a Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Washington. She is a certified coach, facilitator, and racial justice trainer. She has also completed training in Embodied Social Justice and Rockwood’s Art of Leadership.

 

Kellie is a published poet and visual artist, and was appointed Tacoma’s Poet Laureate from 2017-2019. Outside of C&A, Kellie enjoys museums, perfecting her mac and cheese recipe, and reading under a blanket.

 

Kellie (she/her) has served as Principal Consultant at C&A since 2019. Kellie’s primary roles are designing C&A training and content with an eye for culturally relevant and innovative offerings. Kellie combines her background in teaching, facilitation, and research to inform C&A’s offering. She values designing training and learning experiences that invite authentic dialogue, skill building, and casting the bold vision required to co-create healed and thriving communities.

​In addition to trainings and content, Kellie provides leadership development support and coaching to by holding space for leaders to leverage untapped potential and develop practices to live into their purpose. Her coaching philosophy is centered on the fullness and possibility of each client, and invites and honors the role of culture, identity, and joy.
